About Take My Hand.
A small, focused nail studio in Toronto's Annex — built around the Russian e-file technique, nail health, and the kind of work that doesn't need to shout.
Take My Hand is a luxury nail studio at 972 Bathurst Street in Toronto's Annex, founded by Amanda Brown (10,000+ hours, ex-Canadian Armed Forces) and led on the chair by Anna Urlapova, two-time champion of Ukraine in manicure. We are appointment-only and quiet on purpose: two artists, one room, no walk-ins, the same standard every visit.

It started with one belief.
That a manicure is not a luxury detail bolted onto a busy life — it's an hour of care that makes the rest of the week steadier. Amanda founded Take My Hand to be that hour, done properly: dry e-file prep, no nipper trauma, a finish that sits flat and lasts.
The studio is a quiet room two blocks north of Bloor. Three artists by appointment, focused on Russian-technique manicures, gel extensions and bespoke nail art that doesn't chase a trend cycle.
Nail health, first.
We never peel, never over-file, never use shortcuts that compromise the nail bed. If a nail isn't ready for colour, we say so.
Sterilisation, always.
Single-use bits, medical-grade autoclave between every client, hospital-standard surface protocol. Quietly, every time.
Education, included.
We explain what we're doing and why — at-home care comes with the price of the appointment, not as a luxury upsell.
