Amanda Brown.
Specialist in nail recovery, calm rooms and custom pinks.

Amanda Brown is the founder of Take My Hand — a luxury nail studio in Toronto's Annex — with over 10,000 hours of professional manicure experience and a Canadian Armed Forces background. She specializes in damaged-nail recovery, custom pink shades and Russian-technique manicure.
Amanda's path to nails began somewhere most don't: a childhood obsession with detail work, then years in the Canadian Armed Forces where precision wasn't a preference but a discipline. When she made the move into beauty, she brought that discipline with her.
Over 10,000 hours later, she's the founder of Take My Hand and the artist many clients trust with the most delicate work — recovering bitten or damaged nails, and developing custom pink shades you won't find on a polish wall.
A session with Amanda is quiet, warm and uncompromising. She is not interested in shortcuts, and she will not put a colour on a nail that isn't ready for it. Most clients leave with one new habit and a manicure that lasts longer than the last.
