Valeriia Anosova.
Russian-technique manicure with a quiet, considered hand. Trained in Eastern Europe, now at home in Toronto's Annex.

Valeriia Anosova is a nail artist at Take My Hand, working in Toronto's Annex. She is classically trained in the Russian e-file manicure tradition, with a focus on precise cuticle work, an immaculate sidewall, and finishes that hold their shape for weeks.
Valeriia is the artist many clients ask for when they want something quiet. Her hands are steady, her rooms are calm, and her work tends toward the kind of minimal, perfectly-set neutrals that look unremarkable in a photograph and beautiful in person.
She works closely with Amanda and Anna to keep the studio's standard consistent across every chair, same prep, same technique, same care for the nail underneath. Clients who book Valeriia leave with manicures that wear like the rest of the studio's: longer than they expect, and easier to maintain than they thought.
Outside the studio, she's most likely with a coffee in one of the Annex's quieter cafés, or watching tutorials from the artists she studied under back home, the standard never stops moving.
