Anna Urlapova is the lead artist at Take My Hand in Toronto and a two-time champion of Ukraine in manicure. With more than fifteen years of practice and a former manicure school of her own in Ukraine, she is one of the few competition-level Russian-technique artists working in the city.
Anna trained in Ukraine, where the Russian manicure technique is treated with the seriousness of a sport. She competed twice at the national level and won twice — a record few artists in Toronto can claim.
Before moving to Canada, she founded her own manicure school, training the next generation of artists in the e-file method. That teaching instinct shows up in every appointment: she explains what she's doing, why it works, and what you can expect at home.
